Definitely not as good as her first book, which I just devoured. This was a bit slower and at times I just wanted her to move along. I had a difficult time with the timelines of characters, how long they’d been together and when they met again. I wish she could have changed that to something more realistic. I think that would have changed it for me. I still look forward to more because I quite enjoy the writing. 3.5

I really enjoyed reading this book. The setting at BrookBanks Report made me want to be there at the lake. I liked the characters of Will and Fern and how they underwent changes and grew in their relationship. It was a very cute summer read to end the summer season.
