Some cool timeline presentation here as the creative team continues delivering strong art alongside a bold sci-fi story that charges ahead toward a dramatic confrontation.

Volume 2 delivers on all the promise of the first volume while taking the story in unexpected and dramatic directions. With bold art and a story that is apparently just getting started. I'm curious to see what comes next from this creative team.

I have mixed feelings on the art at times, but this story started with a great premise and continues to surprise me from there with the unexpected directions it takes. It's an engaging sci-fi adventure story backed by a talented team of creators.

Volume 4 was pretty cool. I wasn’t expecting that twist but the ending........ that was the best part.

Robert Kirkman is truly one of the best graphic novel writers that I have ever read. Oblivion Song is a phenomenal story. I really did not know what to expect after Nathan was trapped in Oblivion. I wonder where the story would go from this point. This volume opened with a three-year time jump. Nathan found a way to survive as he made it his mission to repair his belt. She ends up returning to the regular world define that obviously things have changed. Not too long after he managed to settle and even for a minute did the invasion occur. Considering what happened at the end of this volume, I’m looking forward to Nathan’s reaction to what he was “too late for”.

This is pretty much a continuation of the first story. Nathan continues to try to fix the mess that he made. He brought his brother Ed back to the real world, but the thing is that Ed wants to return to his home. Though it seems like a sad dreary life being chased by these alien hybrid things, Ed has found some sort of beauty and hope in it. He also, had a foolish idea of sending more people there which made me roll my eyes. Anyways, he worked together with Nathan to steal Nathan’s device back from the government with a little help from Heather, Nathan girlfriend. They seem to fix everything. Things seem to be okay.

However, the aliens are now kidnapping and experimenting on people and at the end of the story. Now I wonder if these things can shape shift into people or something like that. That would be weird. I’m looking forward to the third trade release.

I like where the story is heading and that ending was so good.

Strong opening and close to a very modern take on a dystopian reality.
The colours are beautiful and subtly balance vibrant warm and cold tones to juxtapose the worlds the story introduces and explores.
The creature design is mignola-esque, the humour is ghostbusters for the adult crowd and the story, an adult exploration of heroism and capitalist despair.
By the end, the story kind of feels like a Stuart Gordon movie meets Daniel Quinn’s Ishmael.
