SO! I really enjoyed this book, I couldn't put it down. BUT, I have some complaints. It was long, I found there was wayyyy too much talk about financial stuff that I didn't understand. I understand it was necessary to the story but it was overloaded for me. Also, how unrealistic it was! Great story, but super unrealistic. But, on the other hand, couldn't put it down, I was dying to know and I didn't figure it out right away, so it kept me guessing which was great. It made me want to dive into a story that was very similar. I liked the set up, going back and forth and if anything wish there was more in the elevator. Sara really, REALLY takes a journey and I enjoyed going along with it!

Picked this book up because I loved Night Swim, and was again completely blown away by Goldin’s ability to develop characters, weave an intricate yet believable storyline, and put a core moral value at the heart of the plot. Definitely a must read and satisfying ending!

The idea of a financial thriller does not sound thrilling to me but I found this a lot of fun and compulsively readable

This book was everything I hoped it would be and then some. I absolutely devoured it in 4 hours.

Lucy was the hardest part of the book for me, but Sara, is my favorite part.
