This was amazing.

I cried, I laughed, I swooned, and I could not get enough! The action, the romance and the found family atmosphere of this book, and this series, is INCREDIBLE.

"Castor" was absolutely gripping. Although, I must admit, Kyo wasn't my favourite character of all times, I still liked him a ton and I was fully invested in his and Castor's romance.
Castor though? GAH, I loved him to absolute bits. He's such a fabulous mix of bratty, badass asshole and precious, dorky sweetheart, and my heart felt for him and for everything he's gone through in the past, and for what he goes through during this second installment. I simultaneously wanted to swoon at his feet and wrap him in bubble-wrap and keep him safe from the world.

The one thing I thought could have been explored more though, was his curse, and how Greed actually affects Castor's behaviours: Galen's Wrath was dealt with so perfectly, and I really would have appreciated seeing more of how the darkest aspects of Greed affect Castor, not only his shopaholic tendencies.

Anyway, minor complaints; I have a feeling the next book won't be nearly as "easy" because Envy is such a horrible curse to bear. I'm already preemptively reeling from all the Daman-shaped angst.

Back to "Castor"... I completely adored all the side characters: no surprises there, but damn, Jaclyn Osborn sure can write an incredibly heart-warming and lovable found family. All of the brothers completely own my heart, but I think Raiden was my favourite this time. I love him so much, okay? He's so precious.
Also, THAT ENDING, OMG. I have a feeling that Daman's story could, quite possibly, be a favourite of mine: he's so mysterious, and his power is so heartbreaking. I'm so curious to see what will happen.
