I don’t know what I was expecting but this wasn’t it. In a good way!
We have three of the older siblings that are coming into their own. So many hormones and feelings and uncertainty and weirdness they all feel. Living in the wilderness and only knowing Mom, Daddy Reed, and their siblings… lines blur when your besties are giving you … hard ons… making you wet…. It’s wrong right? I mean.. that’s your brother… your sister… but you love eachother… your all eachother has….
This book isn’t as spicy because we’re developing multiple characters personalities, and they are all struggling with their feelings for one another.
Book one is really about world building and character building.
Book one really dives into how these kids were raised and they really sheltered their daughter Raegan… she didn’t even know what an erection was… and when you shelter kids to the extreme… of course they’ed seek out their closest favorite humans for some … release…. Desires…
However, the older brothers Ryder and Ronan know a bit more about what incest is and the consequences of it… lines still blur….
We have MF and MM tiny moments.
The huge plot of this book though.. holy shit.
Outsiders encroach on Daddy Reeds land… Who are they? What do they want? Will they have friends? People that live by that they aren’t related to?
BRUTAL CLIFFHANGER … I need the next book ASAP
Maybe it’s because it morally goes against my code of ethics, but I was a little bit weirded out by the amount of times that these children were threatened to be hit with a belt. And at one point in the book, the daughter was smacked across her cheek by her mom. Maybe it’s just me but damn! I hated Devon so much as a mom in this story. I thought she was awful.

***** Please read the trigger warnings before going in****
This book had me all over the place. K Webster is definitely the QUEEN of taboo and this book is chocked full of all types of tabooish things. The story building is fantastic along with all the character building.
This book centers around Reagan, Ronan, and Ryder's story and how their feelings are beginning to grow amongst each other. We see how each deals with the attractions and jealousies that come along with the forbidden feelings that are blossoming between the three of them. Remember this is a slow burn taboo book that may have you questioning your own morals at times.
Now with this being said there is a TON of things that happen in this book. I mean a lot. You will find yourself on the edge of your seat wanting to know what is going to happen next. Oh and the ending prepare yourself the ending will literally leave you hanging. I need the next book like right now. I have bloodlust, because there needs to be some retribution and vengeance delved out!

Raegan & Ryder are brother & sister and are always at odds. Raegan steals Ryder’s knife that their Uncle Atticus gave them
Another family winds up visiting their compound. Logan, CJ and their families hang out since their stepmom, Stacey is pregnant. The kids go exploring and Carter gets mauled by a bear
The twists & turns of this book & especially that cliffhanger. I can’t wait to read The Unruly

Jesus Christ K. Webster... just when I think you can't outshine you go and fucking write this fantastic piece of art. I am...I have no words atm. All I can say is READ IT if you liked Wild! READ IT!
It's going to leave you all over the place, I need to pick up my heart I think...it's dropped somewhere around here... :o
Rumour has it we get the next book in August! I can't fucking wait...I'm so reeling right now. lol

Ugh. UGH! Ok. If you have made it this far into the series, then you know that this whole series is taboo AF. There are themes in every book that are unsettling, and give mad ick. So know this before going in, and if you don’t think you can embrace it, then I don’t think this book is for you. Really, there is no need to trigger yourself, you won’t be missing a ton, this series is banned for reasons and though I am highly against banning books, there are other banned books that are more important to read than this one. That being said I’m hooked and it’s too late for me.
Now, back to this book. I think it’s my favorite in the series. I am honestly baffled that it wrenched a 5 star from me. This series started with BIG ICKs, and not much else. But this book? Yea, this book was insane. I thought it would be predictable and ick. I mean, it definitely has ick, but I sincerely don’t know where the story is going to go. I had an idea of where some of the plot was going, but wrenches were thrown and things escalated WAY FURTHER than I thought. I was riveted, couldn’t put the book down, and now I think I’ll be thinking about this book until the next. Speaking of the next… WHEN IS IT COMING OUT?! I need it.

Another page turner by K Webster. She brings the Alaskan wilderness to life in these books. This books leaves you wanting more.
This book really sucked me in, and I'm not ready to leave The Wild World. K Webster is still the taboo queen, and I love everything she does. I wasn't sure what to expect going into a second-generation book from this taboo world. This wasn't as spicy as The Wild, but it was only the first book in the series. It did a perfect job introducing the reader to the many children of Reed and Devon. It also does a good job setting up this world and showing the expanded homestead they have out in the Alaskan wilderness.
I think you should read The Wild and The Free to get the full impact of this book. Reed and Devon just mean more to me, and I loved seeing how their love has grown and stood the test of time.
This book takes place 20 years after The Wild. Reed is now in his sixties, but don't let that fool you. He is still getting after it. They have 8 kids, but this book is centered on 3 of the older siblings (Raegan, Ryder, and Ronan).
This is a slow burn and shows how these three siblings are coming of age. They are each feeling things they shouldn't and are confused with their growing desires. They each had a different dynamic with each other, and I found that fascinating. They have grown up in the Alaska wilderness, away from outside influences. Things get tense and complicated with the appearance of strangers.
Raegan has a very close relationship with Ronan, and he is her best friend. Ronan has sexual desires for men, but he has especially been fantasizing about his brother Ryder. While Ryder is sexually attracted to Raegan. It's an interesting and complicated dynamic. I loved how possessive they got over each other once new people arrived.
Ryder and Ronan:
The truth is, I'm jealous.
Ronan is my brother.
Mine.
If he was going to experiment with a man, it should 've been me. Someone he could trust to keep his secret. Someone who could protect him.
Raegan and Ryder:
Whatever that was can't happen.
He's my brother.
A sister and brother aren't meant to be anything more than friends.
Now, if only I could convince my pattering heart and trembling body..
So much craziness happened near the end of this book, and it ends with a nail-biting cliffhanger. I am dying to get to the next book. I was so nervous at the end of the book, and I can't wait to continue the series. The sexual tension was finally getting good when things got complicated at the end of this book.

Holyyyyyyyy crap!!!! The ending.... like mannn talk about cliffhanger to the max. You have no clue what's going to happen and where they are. This was definitely true taboo Webster style. Always pushing at your limits. It was great seeing some of Eve and Atticus's kids. And goodness so many kids between Reed and Devon. But im excited to see whats up next!
