Another great addition to the series. I'm loving Kate and Andrea, and Curran and Jim. Especially Curran.. Yep, I'm still drooling over Curran. I would say that I'd like to put him on a leash and take him for a walk (*winkwinknudgenudge*), but honestly I'd probably prefer it to happen the other way around. He can walk me all day long.

*ahem*

So yeah, the plot. Talk about the plot. It.. Thickened. Hah, I just don't want to spoil anything and it's hard to describe what was going on in this one without spoiling big series plot points. Just take my word for it.. The story does not disappoint. The world is just as cool and interesting as ever (Have I mentioned how much I love the who technology / magic shifts? What a neat concept!). The characters are still kicking ass, and the conflicts are still epic and awesome.

Four big juicy stars. I'm already reading book five (the last released in the series as of now), and so far it's not letting me down either. This series is a must read for any Urban Fantasy fans!

This book wrecked me. It was so kick Ass. The villain was amazing, Kate’s growth is still such a fluid thing I appreciate her flaws and character and bloodthirst all at the same time! Kate and Curran’s relationship continues to evolve and grow in the best of ways, even when they butt heads. Each of these books have their own individual arc but throughout the whole series Ilona Andrews has been setting up for an even bigger fight, this book really flung us into the bigger picture and I can’t wait to continue!

Another fun read with again a very awesome choice of mythology. Ancient Babylonian of thousands years ago, yay! Personally, this was the first time I really rooted for Kate and Curran. They were the kind of couple that had such a super hard time to cross the line into relationship zone, but once they worked it out, they would be so solid, nothing could break them apart. I loved that. The ending was satisfying, and the epilogue promised a new direction in Kate's professional life, a really awesome direction too. Can't wait!

I'm in love with these characters. Again, excellent fight scenes. I can totally visualize the sword fights.
