Starting out, I noticed a bit of a difference in writing between Youve reached Sam and this book and felt like i already liked this book better. I do feel like i need to read it a second time and see if there was any other foreshadowing or hints to that ending! Didnt make me cry like the first book did though. Some of the characters are kinda hateable/annoying though. I need time to process this book and figure out what was real and not real. If i have time, i think i would read it again.

I struggled a bit with the discomfort of reading an unreliable narrator and the mental health issues that are not really addressed in a serious way, but on the other hand it often reads as cute and hopeful rather than just being sad. Very strong ending.

I wanted to like this because I remember enjoying You’ve Reached Sam. However, I cannot get into it. Very VERY easy to read though so I could probably finish it if I wanted to. But the unreliable narrator mixed some other elements just isn’t meshing for me.
