Written with elegant simplicity, and threaded with subtle motifs (the Cumaean sibyl, what does it mean to belong, what is family?). The plotting was beautifully understated and intricately arranged. The Sibyl's Cave is not a fast or compulsive read, nor showy in its language, but quietly memorable.
