I love Caz and Willow and I really want to see their relationship grow and them deal with their pain and trauma.
There were quite a few grammatical errors in the book but I could get past that with how interesting the story was.

This is a cool premise for a story. There were some grammatical errors, which annoyed me a little bit. I really didn’t like Willow’s relationship with Garrett; it was obvious that she really didn’t like him and I didn’t understand why she just end things with him. I also guessed who the bad guy was right before the reveal. Overall interested to see where this series goes.

To sum it up, you have 2 people (Caz and Willow) from different worlds who have this entity (not sure if that’s the correct term to use)that’s trying to get their souls because of them being “cold-tethered” which basically means they’re soulmates in a unique way. That entity only survives off of their type of people. Both people are dealing with their world’s turning upside down and them navigating through it was fast-paced, toe wiggling, heart pulling, and just dang good!
My favorite character was the FMC’s best friend Faye. Her supporting the FMC through it all was mind blowing because I don’t know if it could have been me

Definitely too slow of a slow burn for me. The couple also wasn’t very believable to me. There’s also racism in a fantasy book… I don’t read fantasies for real life issues.
