I wasn't familiar with Healey's work before, but this book caught my attention for the subject matter and title. She has a unique writing style, which I think might come from her background in poetry, and it makes the book difficult to put down! Some of the passages are so inventive and laugh-out-loud funny, while other parts are quite difficult to read. I enjoyed it very much, and it got me thinking about a wide range of things, from work to growing up to life in general.
