A lot going on and most of it was pretty out of pocket.

What a weird book. There were parts I hated (like when she referred to the Milky Way as a cum smear???), and also just, nearly every man in this book in general. It felt like there was a lot happening, and it wasn't all cohesively done. I think if you go into this book thinking it's about people trying to survive on an island after a plane crash, you will not enjoy it. Because it's not, oddly. The plane crash is just sort of a thing that happens. It's really a horror book about social media and tech culture and sexism, etc. I liked it, in the end, but it was also very, very weird.
