Marked for Revenge is the second installment in the Jana Berzelius saga. This novel takes place about 6 months after the first one ended. There is a new investigation into the container mystery of the abducted children. Now, a Thai woman is found dead on a train due to heroin she was smuggling bursting in her stomach.
The police force investigates and tries to determine if there is a connection between the new case and the old case. Police corruption, drug trafficking, and Jana's pursuit of the truth about her childhood come to a head in this second installment. However, there are still more questions to be answered.
Another fast paced thriller from Emelie Schepp, very well done.

Grei serie med lett underholdning innenfor krim sjangeren. Merker at jeg ikke klarer å engasjere meg så mye i bøkene jeg går gjennom for tiden så hadde nok likt og fått med meg mer av handlingen i denne på et annet tidspunkt. Falt litt utav handlingen i midten og Jana sin tilknyttning til saken og hva hennes far hadde med saken å gjøre. Ellers som sagt lettlest og underholdene.

Marked for Revenge is the second book in the Jana Berzelius series and definitely should be read in order. The story picks up almost a year after marked for life ends. It is a new story that ties in parts of the last one. It carries the same mystery and action as the first novel. By bringing in a new case it keeps the story fresh and the mystery of Jana Berzelius interesting. It continues to have the dark thriller theme and unforgettable characters that makes this series one of my favorites. It’s a series that should not be missed.
