The Decameron Project is a collection of 29 short stories from a variety of authors written during and about the pandemic.

The stories are incredibly varied in this collection. They range from hilarious and hopeful to terrifying and slightly too realistic for comfort. I think this is one of those books you need to know yourself really well before you decide to go into it. I think this could be comforting to some and incredibly triggering to others.

It was interesting to read stories told about what we are experiencing. To feel validated and see and heard by these authors. But there were a handful of stories that hit too close to home for me and I still think about with anxiety. I think this will age well and will be something that many people will find an interesting and accurate reflection of the many moods of this pandemic.
