Legacy is part memoir and part overview of the many ways in which the health care system, from patients to medical students, disadvantages black people. While it may not delve deeply into any one topic, the ground it covers is broad, and interwoven with Dr. Blackstock’s personal experiences makes the journey incredibly moving.
