Lonely castle in the mirror seems to continue a japanese trend fairy-tale like stories. Mizuki tsujimura uses fairy-tale-like plot to tell a story about three importance of human connection.

Besides that, the themes of abuse and bullying within the Japanese school system made it a relevant to the Japanese society of today.

Other than being maybe a tad too long, it is a heartwarming tale that left me thoroughly inspired.
Thoughts that humanity definitely wasn't a mistake filled my mind that the fog filled morning on which finished the book. The book successfully achieved its goal, in my opinion
