I really enjoyed this book. Victor, an endearing character, was truly loveable and the innocent relationship between him and Marie was beautiful. I felt that I learnt along with Victor that life isn't just about knowledge but also our deeper outlook upon it.

I liked this book but it was a bit confusing. On the cover it said Marie was blind and it said it in the blurb too. In the book though, they said she was blind like halfway through the book and it was this big dramatic reveal. I was just confused because I already knew and through the book they made it really obvious.
