Feels more like watching an HR disaster constantly looming over the horizon instead of a romance. Not my thing.

It was fine. It felt too long for a romance. I was a little bored for a lot of it. The plot wasn’t very gripping. The last hundred pages were better than the first 300. Also, the intimate scenes weren’t cheesy and there was only maybe one cheesy line. Lack of that is always welcomed.

Although this wasn’t the worst book and I somewhat enjoyed it I found it to be quite repetitive especially the spicy scenes. The plot itself was okay and 100% got better towards the end. I’ve heard the other books to this series are a lot better so I’m going to stick to reading them. I think because this book was so raved about it almost set the standards to high for the book to meet.

I'm surprised the characters don't have a neck injury from how many times they threw their head back.

I’m so sorry but howww is this people’s favorite romance I’m so confused. Btwn the horrible miscommunications, the cringey grumpy-sunshine with even cringier inner monologues, and the most predictable ending I am so annoyed I wasted my time reading this:(
