This book hit me like a bag of bricks. Enveloped me like a blanket right out the dryer. It held me and pushed me and most importantly, spoke to me. I cannot recommend this collection enough.

Thank you thank you thank you

It was good, it was clever and queer and had some very strong moments. It also sometimes bent my brain in half trying to follow the metaphors, and was steamier than my usual comfort zone, so I can't summon great enthusiasm for it.

In addition to being beautiful, moving and thought provoking poetry, I found this book to be structured in a way that I found very well put together. Poetry books are usually either narrative or simply a collection of individual poems but this one had an excellent flow.
