Finally, the wait is over! But only for a short amount of time since this is only the second book.

This book was amazing and so worth the toture that we had to go through while we were waiing for the release. It was action-packed, full of surprises, funny moments, sweet moments and shocking moemnts. I enjoyed it so so much.

I'm not going to write a detailed review because I don't think that anyone needs convincing after the first one. All I'm gonna say is, if you like the first book, you'll love this one too.

I love Call. He's my favourite. Love Tamara and Aaron and Master Rufus. Jasper's still an ass but he could grow on me. I'm really anxious/excited for the rest of the series since I have no idea what's going to happen. Knowing the name of the last book doesn't help since that just confuses me more.

Last but not least... Constantine's head? That was brilliant! Loved it so much! And if you don't understand what that means, it's because you haven't read the book yet. What are you waiting for? Go read it!

So this book took me so freacking long to finish, dunno why. I really really like this story but can't get hooked in this.. Regardless that, I'm really looking forward for the next book since this is an excyting story and all my theories just went downhill 'cause one of the things I thought could happen did indeed happen but now I can't really fanthom what in hell is going to happen in the next three freacking books!

This just wasn't doing anything for me. I got to almost halfway through the audiobook and I didn't care to know what happened next. I know I didn't think much of the first one but I thought I should keep going, but I was bored...

Oh-kay, this book was good......if I read it a couple years ago. Don't get me wrong, I still find it a good book, but there were times that I felt the pacing was weird, and I just overall wasn't interested. A much younger me would have loved the series with no complaint.

The plot has a very vague direction, and there is primarily only one focus. Which is finding
Call's dad, cuz he stole something.
Idk really.

The characters are almost the same as in the first book, with some advancements in their knowledge, and some new connections etc.

The writing was quite fast paced, with events flying past for the most book, until halfway through the book, where our MCs actually got some some of aim to work towards.

Overall, I liked this book, but I definitely wouldn't have regretted if I didn't picked it. I would recommend to younger readers.

PS. My review is oddly short compared to my usual ones lol.

Okay, the characters are growing on me, and wow, these authors know how to end a book. I was going to quit after two, but now that my 11yo has shamed me by rereading the first 4 in the time it took me to read 2, it's on.

This is so nit-picky, but it's hard to read "Call" and pronounce it in my head as "call" like a phone call, instead of Cal - like pal.

However, I did enjoy the monsters and the creativity of Call and friends getting themselves out of trouble. It's fast-paced, and I like the way the second book is setting up the rest of the series.
