This book had me on the edge of my seat. The characters are well written and despite the fact that there are only two of them it doesn’t get boring. A real page-turner.

Okay so this isn't normally the type of book that i would read, but i thought i would try something different. i really enjoyed this book.
first of all Annie is one hell of a character, when we first meet her we see that she is slightly unhinged but we are not sure to what extent.
As the book progresses Paul Sheldon( a frustrated writer) realizes how much trouble he is actually in.
I like how the story isn't just about how Annie antagonizes Paul, it is also about how he antagonizes himself, and he hates how dependent he has to be on Annie, even though she torments him. Without her, Paul would be dead.
I like how it isn't just the gory bits that disturb people. The most harrowing parts are when Annie is at her most unpredictable and distant. We see her as a psychotic yet calculating demon.
