I was first introduced to Glennon Doyle Melton on Oprah’s soul sessions, I loved and related to everything she said and her book is written just like she speaks, brutally honest, funny and quotable. I had so many ah-ha moments, I cried and then laughed and then cried some more, there were moments when I felt I was reading from a page in my own journal. This is a quick read but not an easy one, Glennon lays it all down bare. Be warned: you’re going to mark up your book with highlighters and bug everyone you know to read this book.

The first half of this book was a little slow, and wasn't really working for me. The second half more than made up for it. It was so beautiful and filled with so much truth. There were so many things that I needed to hear. I loved it.

A book where tone matches theme serendipitously. Packed with insight and opportunity for growth.

It’s a bit odd to read this book after reading Untamed, but Doyle’s authenticity and vulnerability in telling her story make you forget that you already know the next chapter (or book, I suppose). In truth, I felt so much relief knowing this wasn’t the end of the story.

I won an advanced copy of this book, so I was already pumped to read it and had high expectations. Glennon did not disappoint.

Love Warrior is intensely personal; like when a good friend shares a secret and you feel stunned and grateful and connected. There were lots of nods, tears, and many, many "me, too" moments while reading. Instead of speeding through the book, there were times I found myself having to put it down to process. Our experiences are different, but so much of what Glennon wrote rang true for me that it was both exhilarating and terrifying. I will be reading it again, and asking my partner to read it as well to start some important conversations.

Glennon's story is deeply personal, her writing is raw, vulnerable, and honest, and her truths are universal. I highly recommend Love Warrior to everyone interested in connecting with their still, small voice.
