Middle grade graphic novel, adventure. It has been years since I read any of the 39 clues books, but I listened to a lot of them on audiobook. So when I saw the graphic novel adaptation I had to check it out. It was fun to see visual representations of the characters though of course some of them were very different than I had imagined. Loved the pace and the clue solving, it made me remember how much I loved the original series.

This is the worst graphic novel I’ve ever read.
It was nothing like the original book.
There where things Ghosh literally never happen in the book. And Nellie, Amy and Dans au pair was completely out of character. In the book she was constantly on her phone, and listening to music with her earbuds in and was not involved until the end of the book…. In the graphic novel, she’s involved in everything and not once. Did I see her with air buds in her ears… Not to mention the cat Saladin is in this whole novel… In the actual book, he goes with Mr. McIntyre after the explosion in the Franklin Institute…..
It was just over all awful in my opinion.
