Lily and I—we may have started our relationship as pretend. But for as long as I can remember, our love has always been real

Lili and Lo went from two depressed and wounded adults consumed by their addictions to two happy and strong adults who are no longer defined by their struggles. Their growth filled me with so much pride and their hard-fought happy ending brought me immense joy. I was in tears during the last 10% of the book.

These two will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will forever love them.

fav quotes:

The parts of me that I love the most are the parts that belong to her

“Lily Calloway...all this time, your superpower has been loving me.”

There’s something about Lily that makes all the terrible parts of me seem irrelevant. That makes a bad day momentary and a good one infinite.
It’s love like this that’s worth living for.

I fell in love with Lo like a little girl opening her heart to magic.

For the first time, I yearn for tomorrow and cherish yesterday and live for today. It’s peace that no one will take from me.

We have consumed each other from day one. And we truly never let go.

I can’t tell you the day that I fell in love with you because there wasn’t a single day that I didn’t.” My voice shakes with more joy than I’ve ever known. ”You have the purest parts of my heart, and I’m certain that in every alternate universe, I’m always, always in love with you.”

I did not expect a book from Lily and Lo's pov to end up being one of my favorites. The storyline, the character arcs and them living together again was soooo fun. I was living for the Daisy/Ryke and Rose/Connor crumbs omg. It's even cuter knowing how much Lily is rooting for Raisy and the fact that they both like watching Rose and Connor fighting (flirting) intellectually with each other hahaha. The way they all want to protect each other was so heartwarming and the ending was absolute perfection!

⭐️⭐️⭐️

Review:
It’s good to be back, kind of... Rose annoys me even though she is a badass queen, but from time to time she is infuriatingly annoying to me and I am absolutely dreading reading the next book featuring her and Connor. I just want to read the book after that about Daisy and Ryke, my fave ship.

The bortherly banter between Connor and Lo feels forced to me, though sometimes I don’t mind it as much. The writing is extremely repetitive and boring, and the dialogues are often cringe. Every chapter ends with a cringe message about love and friendship, please just make it stop. You don’t have to finish every chapter off with an inspiring or motivational quote.

When one of them (not gonna spoil who) literally went into labor in the limo I had to put the book down and do a reality check because what the fuck is going on. I feel like every plot opportunity is being used because there’s literally nothing else to keep the series going. It’s dragging at best, I cannot even take half of it seriously. I couldn’t tell you the difference between Thrive, Addicted for now and this one.

This book made be absolutely DESPISE the media and the paparazzi, I want to disintegrate them.

HOWEVER, they’re cute and it’s infuriatingly addicting to read. I kid you not, this book is CLINGING to my three stars.

"“You and me.” She chokes on a laugh. “Lily and Lo.” My chest swells. “We’re going to make it in the end.”"

"“I can’t tell you the day that I fell in love with you because there wasn’t a single day that I didn’t. (...) You have the purest parts of my heart, and I’m certain that in every alternate universe, I’m always, always in love with you.”"

"“Lily Calloway…all this time, your superpower has been loving me.”"
