Ok so there were some challenges for me. One being that it all basically took place in about three weeks and a LOT happened. Everyone needs therapy. Not just Hank lol
That being said, I was truly surprised at the twist. It made me laugh and I can’t wait to read more about everyone as the series goes on.

Charlie Swan x Witch on the run fanfic goodness vibes. Felt a little long, but I’ll be reading Jory’s story in February for sure!

If you wanted more Charlie in the Twilight series this is the book for you. I was rooting for Hank right from the jump and I loved his character arc. He and Esther have an intense first interaction and it was obvious neither of them could resist the pull of the other. I don't know why but I wasn't expecting this to be so paranormal heavy so that threw me off a bit. But overall I liked this quite a bit and the epilogue has me supremely intrigued for the next one.

"If I loved you less, I might be able to talk about it more." This was Mr. Knightly's declaration of love for Emma, and this is my declaration for Soft Flannel Hank.

I loved this book and everything about it: the pacing, the dual point of view, the details regarding the characters emotions (especially Hank's), the suspense, the side characters (who are all A-mazing and I want to read all their books), the resolution, the wilderness that forms part of the story, the paranormal elements... just everything!

Hank is one of the best mmc's I've read, and the way the writer allows you into his inner world, was just perfection. And Esther? I loved her so much. These two deserve all the love, happiness, and softness the world has to offer.

For excellent reviews detailing exactly why this book is so great read just read any of the other 5 star reviews - those reviewers were far more articulate than I could ever be!

But just trust me—read this book!
