that was insane

the ending act had me kind of disappointed but the rest made up for it

favorite line:

This is the third book I've read now where a character keeps dying - I hated the other two, but a friend recommended this one and thankfully third time is a charm! I loved this book. It's a little confusing and you definitely have to enjoy fantasy-ish books because of the whole 8 bodies thing - I had no problem with that, though it's frustrating when you want the character to just accept it and move on to the investigation. Super interesting, fascinating idea, well written, all the yes. Loved it. I was a bit skeptical with one part of the ending, but eh. I never guessed who did anything and I gasped at the big twist. The audio was top notch.

When Flora gave this book to me she said “it was alright” and I’d agree. I thought the story was good but perhaps too complicated which made it too long. However, I liked some of the subtle clues (E.g. “she used to be plain””well she’s quite striking now actually) - some of the reveals were very good, others were meh. I didn’t love the whole reason they were there but the answer to the mystery itself was fun

This was great! A murder mystery where you get to explore the world from all kinds of angles by repeating different parts of the story from different perspectives. Suitably complex story with twists and turns, and a satisfying ending.

This story is a trip! A dark trip with a large amount of violence. 
It's a mystery but also kind of a sci-fi, in a way. There are lots of twists, turns, and body jumping. A bit like if Doctor Who, Freaky Friday, Supernatural, and Sherlock got thrown into a blender. 
I'm not sure I've seen a story like it before. 
The main warning I'll give is that you need to pay close attention to character names! I didn't pay close attention to names at first and had to work to catch up later (I was fighting for my life). It feels very long, though that is intentional because the main character is trapped and can't escape, so it feels endless to him.
