I really like this but I think I will need to sit with it for a while. As usual, the author creates a world and story that feels incredibly real and is deeply thought provoking.

In victory, loss. This book is a really thought-provoking read with a wonderful thesis in the end, at least from my perspective. Unfortunately it's writing style is often pretty laborious to get through, with a ton of internal monologuing that doesn't resonate with me as a reader.

I feel unequipped to properly comment on the political theory payed out by PKD in this book, and feel his books more centered  philosophy and the human condition in regards to technology are more effective than the more overt political science fiction in this book, but still solid.
