If you are looking any of these, this is the book for you.

Alice is down on her luck lately and gets entered into a holiday baking show by her meddling cousins. To make things more uncomfortable for her, she has had a love induced crush on one of the celebrity judges for years.

Mike, Michael to those who are close to him, plays the part of the hard, no nonsense judge for the show Second Bite. Already in a bad mood to start the show, his mood instantly changes when his eyes land on Alice. He knows immediately that his life has changed and he wants nothing more than a future with her.

Once the baking show is over, will Alice and Michael want to be together? Or will their instant attraction remain as lust rather than love.

Man, this book was unexpectedly spicier than I thought it would be! It was such a quick read (it took me less than two hours to read!). I want more Alice and Michael!!

So good! I obviously had to read this after reading Smoky Darling and I loved it. Alice is a contestant on the show Second Bite and is nervous but so excited to finally meet Chef Michael - who she’s been in love with. Michael is over all the working and specials and just wants a break, until his eyes land on Alice. Their story is funny, a bit emotional and pulled at all my heart strings.

It was everything it promised : sweet, hot, instalove, funny.
I’m not a huge fan of instalove, but the book was nice enough to make me like it, so I’m not complaining !

A very quick, insta love, age gap, holiday romance with definite spice. A touch of forbidden as well with Michael being a judge on the baking show and Alice being a contestant. Super cute, fun read.

If you’re looking for a super quick holiday read, this works! I read it in one sitting (like an hour & a half?)

But it was kind of a miss for me.

I enjoyed it at the beginning. I love that the heroine got to meet her celebrity crush, and cooking/baking shows are awesome! The insta-love on Michael’s part was cute at first but then extreme & possessive way too fast.
