A fun, short and spicy holiday read! I liked the baking competition setting, and getting both character’s pov was nice. I wished the second part of the epilogue was set later in the future.
I was so tempted to finish this because it is hilariously terrible, but it’s a DNF at 49%.
An example:
She’s crying about the fact that he, the Paul Hollywood surrogate, was mean about her terrible dessert and then he sneaks up behind her, puts his hand on her lower back and whispers, “Please don’t cry, Baby Cakes. I can’t have you crying.”
[They have literally never interacted off camera]

I’m not sure if I’ve ever laughed because a book was so bad, but there’s a first time for everything.
