This book was cute. Definitely a lighthearted read. Low stakes and easy to sit with.

Maggie is taking a plunge in the pee and poop filled dating pool to find a date for her 2 best friends’ weddings. In her quest she comes across a few frogs, scammers, and one seemingly Mr. Perfect. But is the man for her the one who’s been there all along?
This was a pretty light and entertaining read with some LOL moments and it was very relatable! The highlights of the story for me were:
💘Friend group! I loved their routine lunch dates and fun conversations. I liked Savvy's cameo appearance throughout the story, and updates on her life. It was very reminiscent of The Boyfriend Project.
💖 Garret and Blake were both great catches! G was “old faithful” there thru thick & thin, where Blake was successful, a bit of a control freak but “checked all the boxes”
💘Maggie’s hilarious dating fails
💘Maggie's relationship with her dad; the author always gives us "daddy's girls" protagonists (like me).
💖Maggie's feisty cat, Penny
💘The Thailand destination wedding!
What I didn't like:
💖Love triangles - I'm not a fan!
💘Maggie worked my nerves
💖I really hated how pathetic Garret came across; waiting around for years for Maggie to see him...ugh! He deserved so much better!
💘Extremely predictable!
💖Hearing everyone tell Maggie what was so blatantly obvious the entire story, while she continued to play aloof!
💘How in the world did her friends label Garret as the bad guy in the confrontation?
💖The way only Maggie could save Garret's epic on screen flop was a bit absurd.
I came away asking myself how important is chemistry in a relationship? Does it need to happen at the start, or can it grow over time?
I’d recommend this for a fun & fluffy summery vibe!!

Was not a fan of this but I had to see it through.

I am struggling to get through it. It feels too descriptive. Like I don’t know if all of the details are necessary, and they are boring me.
