Very slow to start but once the author found his groove it had a better flow. This is a really good deep dive into the full spectrum that is autism, touching on identities not often covered in media portrayals such as women with autism and POC with autism.

Wide ranging, and so not terribly in-depth. The book is fairly well researched but has a bit of an identity crisis. References are provided in the back, but not indicated in any way in the text. In trying to be a more accessible reading experience, the book might actually become less so.
