If this were a nonfiction book, I would have probably stopped reading it. I don't need another book to make me feel guilty or worried about the current state of the world.

But this book? It gave me a new perspective on things and reframed things in a way that kept me interested & wanting to learn more. It was written 15 years ago but the message is so timely.

"And what happens if you take the Leaver premise, that man belongs to the world?"

A good book to come to with an open mind and see if you have something new to take away. The writing is very digestable, and the content may be challenging if these are ideas you haven't interacted with before. I do like how Quinn was able to do a lot with a very simple premise, and in the end, I feel like it made some things click for me that I had been mulling in for awhile.
