I felt a little additional context from the narrator would have helped the story. It was hard to follow at times due to the rambling way Dolly talks. I also thought there would be more snippets of songs. Maybe I was under false impressions going in.

I wanted to like this book because I love Dolly and she had some good stories but the flow of the book was just too clunky for me and it was hard to get immersed in it sometimes.
