Another hit

Another hit by the incredible Mrs.Neuhold! Such a sweet, hot, adorable opposites story about coming out of your shell and being unapologetically yourself. As always, a great story with lovely people.

~3.5 stars but I rounded it up

I really really enjoyed this. I just wish it was much longer. While I really loved the story, I just never felt like I could really connect with the characters because there wasn’t enough of it for me to connect.

But it was cute as hell and sexy and very low angst and I always appreciate that very much.

A Great book! I loved it!

This story was so, so good. I read this when it was just a short story (Kiss and Run) as part of the Valentines Inc series. It's even better now that it's been expanded. I love a happy ever after and Kyleen did not disappoint. This book checks so many boxes for me. Lingerie-check. Piercings- check. Super hot sexy times- check. Fake boyfriend- check. You get the point. This book is awesome. I really like the added reference to another book character from a different series as well. I also appreciate the expansion because that means more sexy times! The HEA was really sweet and I'm love the way Austin supported Keaton in his work. I would definitely read more of this if Kyleen made it into a series. After all Austin's friend Luke needs a HEA.

Sometimes novellas are rushed and the relationships don't seem believable, but this was absolutely perfectly timed and so believable. I loved how they just organically fell together, so naturally. And still so hot! Sometimes relationships really do just come out of nowhere, without any big drama.

5 stars…
I though I’d read all of Neuholds non poly books but I’ve missed a few so I’m fixing that. Love Neuhold and once again I was not disappointed.

Great book, love the lace and the support, and the angst of moving from hookup to more. Keaton the starving artist becoming less starving and the “boring” accountant Austin was amazing.

2/5 on spice. 2/5 on kink. 1/5 on tears. Shopping spree’s and panties.

2.5 stars. It was okay. I liked the opposites attract thing and how they made each other the best version of themselves. An artist character is fun, too. It’s nice that Austin supported Keaton the way he did. I would have liked Austin to have gotten some more development though. Maybe that he’d switch from the accountant gig to something in marketing that he seemed to enjoy?

It’s a short book. We learned nothing at all about either main character’s families as far as I recall. I also didn’t like that Austin forgave shithead Harry right away and even confided in him. Ugh.

Painted Lace was nothing short of beautiful choas.

Austin was an uptight slightly neurotic mess who was still hung up on his best friend / ex boyfriend from three years ago who was getting married in a few short weeks. In a moment of insanity he joined M4M and messaged Keaton.

Awesome. The plot and characters immediately draw you in. As expected of KMN.
Austin is a straight-laced, orderly man. My type of man really, but I digress. He's an unhappy man getting zero action. He's feeling it particularly bad now that his jerk of an ex sent him a wedding invitation and he has no date to bring. So he downloads our favorite fictional app M4M. Enter Keaton, aka chaos incarnate. He's just the kind of fun, sexy sprinkle of fun Austin needs in his life. But at what point does a regular hook-up become more? Sex was hot and the romantic tension had my heart a flutter! I was a little unsure of Keaton what with his flakiness, but I should have known KMN wouldn't disappoint me. He was a funny, sweetheart who won me over with his wicked burn of Austin's ex.
The story was over too soon! It was too short! I needed more Austin and Keaton. Other than not having enough, my only real qualm was the use of drugs in this book. Course I'm probably more of a fudey-dudey than Austin.

Sexy af

This is the first I've read this story and I don't know what she added to the original version, but this version was utterly perfect.I would have liked to see a little more dreaming with Austin's neuroses, but I loved the way they balanced each other and grew together. Absolutely perfect in every way
