Shattered was a great introduction to me as an author. I really enjoyed the story. I thought that it was really well written, the writing flowed seamlessly and it was a pleasure to read. I’ve got to be honest this story kind of stole my heart a little and ran away with it. It really was a beautiful love story between two lovely characters. Harper’s life was full of secrets, secrets that constantly had me wondering how she was going to overcome them and stop running. Logan had his own past to deal with two but he sensed a connection between him and Harper and he wasn’t going to give her up without a fight.
I really felt a deep connection with the characters especially Harper and I think that’s because it’s clear the author had taken the time to give her backstory, how she was feeling through using alternative viewpoints. I felt like I was on the journey with her and I really did like her character, she felt like a genuinely nice person.
I’ve got to be honest and say Logan had me swooning all over the place, the kind of swooning where you want to decorate his name with tiny little hearts! I fell for him almost instantly.
I cannot recommend this book and I can’t wait for more to come from this author in the future.

I listened to the audiobook of Shattered. The prologue was so intense & Stacy was perfect. Her voice was flawless as Sara & she has a great drunk jerk voice for Drew. I like how she handled herself with the situation she was in.

Both Harper & Logan have pasts that haunt them. But they are great together. Greg does an awesome job as Logan. His voice always has a bit of an edge to it that adds to his inner turmoil.

Harper (Sarah) runs from a tragic past with her son and is content in the new life she's built...that is until Logan moves in next door. As her secrets are revealed, you find yourself drawn into the story and not able to put it down. I loved this book from start to finish and can't wait for more in the series! A wonderful tale of love after tragedy!

Good romance. I was so afraid of her monster husband coming back at any moment throughout most of the book, but that fear got put aside whenever Harper and Logan came together. Although they were both hiding dark secrets, they were perfect for each other, especially the way Logan was with her little boy. Said little boy was so freaking cute, by the way.
I personally don't like push and pull in my romances, so while I didn't care for that aspect, I did understand Harper being wary of letting someone else in after what she'd been through.
The ending made me so anxious, but the last page left me smiling.
