I ate this up until abt half way through and then I fell off for a bit as the story seemed to slow. Ethan wasn’t my favorite MMC but I did like the resolution to his character arc. He just seemed a bit flat. I liked Grey as well as the side characters though.

I really enjoyed How to Fake it in Hollywood! It’s a fun celeb fake dating turned real lovers story. Grey needs to get her name back out there after kind of stagnating in her career and Ethan needs to up his image after a rough time. The sexual tension is high in the first half of this book! Grey and Ethan pretty much fall for each other immediately and then have to overcome what life throws at them like a naked photos scandal and substance abuse. I thought this book was convincingly life like and touched on some deep topics like grief and alcohol abuse.

I liked the chemistry in this book, but I wasn’t drawn to anything in particular. I enjoyed the grumpy/sunshine dynamic and getting to learn more about Hollywood PR relationships, but I felt like the last quarter of this book was excessive and went too far. I liked the ending tho, very cute. Also always love a dual POV/she fell first + he fell harder. One of the better celebrity romance books I’ve read
