Yara is the almost new queen of the dragon shifters. She has to live to make it to her coronation first. The dragons are ticked off for a few reasons--1. They didn't get their monthly power surge at the last gathering. 2. Yara is completely human. Something is happening that is pitting the dragon shifters against each other. A possible "civil" war is brewing that could overflow to the human population. Bad Mama January isn't who Yara thought she was & Yara's harem gets kidnapped. Yara gets to meet Belle Harrison from Holly's series The Slayer's Reverse Harem (a TBR for those that haven't yet) & they team up to rescue Yara's harem. Yara thought things were bad before, but it's only the beginning. I thought this was a cute installment in this series. It has intrigue. I didn't like this one as much as the first part, but I still couldn't put it down.
