I am rendered speechless. This book was incredibly good.
5 stars. I had a hard time putting this book down. Many things are wrapped up, but there is still plenty left to base lots more tales on. If I have any critique, the ending is a little rushed - but after this many books in the series, I'm pretty sure that will shake out in the next installment. It says something that this author can have an ongoing cast of hundreds and I can still keep over 90% of them straight from book to book.
i'm sad to have to stop reading this series. i still feel so fondly for many of the characters but the writing isn't doing it for me anymore.
Seanan McGuire has such a ridiculous gift for resetting everything I think and know about this series, Sleep No More acts as a perfect montage reset into Toby's life and how she is perceived across the realm.
For those who also mis-read the authors note at the beginning, this is the first part of a duology - but the 2nd book is the same tale from Tybalt's POV, not the conclusion to the story!

October is so different, and yet recognisably herself. Hats off to Seanan McGuire for pulling this one off. It was so interesting to see what had changed and what hadn't, ancd why. I had a great time, and now I can't wait for The Innocent Sleep!
