Allthough it took me forever to finish this book, it's THICK, it had nothing to do with the content. I loved this book, I just have a schedule that's been formualted to torture me. That being said, even though I had a few days between reading sessions, I still picked the plot right back up without being lost. Others may not agree, but I liked the limited focus on the organization. I kind of hate secret society books that have heavy details about the way it all works, I get lost.

I folloed this plot easily and enjoyed the whole ride. I think Ven ended up being my favorite and I'm curious about the tease of some action between him and Thorne. I LOVED the concept of everyone being together, I hope we see more authors take that on! I'm certainly going to be reading more from Rose in the future.

Definitely enjoyed this book and I love a why choose/Reverse Harem where the MMCs love each other like they do the FMC.

Points off for the very tired third act kidnapping. Also some of the dialogue felt cringey, especially in the spicy scenes.

Still I really enjoyed it.

"Vengeful Gods" by Elliott Rose was my favorite read of 2024. I received the audiobook's advanced listening copy (ALC) in early December. Amy Hall and Gabriel Spires brought the dark, steamy, and mysterious story to life. I fell in love with it all over again, and if possible, even more deeply. Thank you, @elliottroseauthor, for sending me this audiobook! "Vengeful Gods" will be released on audio on January 14! 😈💜💜💜💜

This was one of those books that you devour. I didnt want to leave the world of Fox, Ven, Ky, and Thorne. Secret societies, revenge, why choose, touch her and die. It had so many of my favorite tropes. I loved getting to know these characters and what made them who they were. Elliott did so well creating this book I just finished and already miss them! This will definitly be a reread!

DNF- To be honest I made it 20% in and had to stop cause I was bored

Was this the spiciest book I read this year? Honestly I’m having a hard time thinking of one that outdoes it 😆

What to expect:
- why choose
- dark
- secret society
- adult napping
- forced prox.
- & so many k!nks

This one is as a WILD ride. Check authors notes for full content warnings but it starts off with so much!

Plot:
Fox thinks she’s going on a date when she actually gets adult napped and whisked back to the world of dark, secret society rituals she thought she escaped. And there’s three men who are making her life very… difficult.
