This is a dark, reverse harem romance novel centering around Foxglove Noire. Fox previously escaped the world of the Anguis, in which she grew up as the heir to her father's empire. Following her father's death, Fox get dragged back into this world by three men, Ky, Ven, and Thorne, who want to take revenge on the Noire family and she ends up falling for them.

I am quite torn about this book. I found the beginning quite boring and slow. At the same time, it could have used more world building as I was really struggling to understand how the Anguis work, if there is just House Noire or other Houses as well and so on.
It gave me some Den of Vipers vibes, however, I liked the characters way more. The characters and their interactions made the book for me, the story was honestly lacking behind. I am still not sure if it was supposed to be mainly smut (it was hot!) but at the same time the intention of the story setting was quite complex for that.
Overall, a solid book that could have done even better with some more fine tuning.
