Unnecessary incomplete book...should have stopped at book 1. Don't waste your time.

Although I enjoyed the book, i didn't enjoy it as much as the first one. It became exciting after half of the book. I felt that as conniving as Jessie was, she appeared too weak. She never stood up for herself, and she never did anything other than shop for chicken or other mediocre things. I'm hoping there is a character build-up for her in the next book.

Love that it picked up right where we left off with Mrs. Wiggins. This story seemed to drag..but I'm hopeful for the third book. I'm sure it will pick up.

Won this book in a Goodreads giveaway.
The first book eventually sucked me in, but this one was way too slow for me. The only real interesting part won't be finished until the next book comes out. I just felt like I was waiting and waiting for something to happen. I finished it because I don't really like to not finish a book, but I also won a copy and wanted to write a fair review. There were good parts, but I guess I was just expecting more after the first first book of the series. It definitely didn't grab me in a way to really have me anticipate the third book. :(
