What a wonderful find.
I was scrolling on Facebook and happened upon a post about this book. It’s a wonderful, easy enjoyable read. The main characters are loveable. Put me in the Christmas spirit and cheered me up going through another massive lockdown in Melbourne
A great read

Nope.

This is why I don’t read Christmas stories. But hey, if you don’t mind internal dialogue that rambles for pages in the middle of a conversation or if Holly Mistletoe Winters (eye roll) doesn’t make you want to choke on garland, you might like it. The best part about it? It’s short.

This was a cute, easy, short Christmas novella with just the right amount of cheesiness.
A little spicy, but not too much. It doesn’t overtake the plot. You could easily read this during your kid’s nap time, or on a short plane ride or something like that. It’s about the length of a hallmark Christmas movie, and just as simple to follow.

I would have absolutely loved this as a full length novel.  However, since it was novella length, I found the enemies to lovers arc to be extremely rushed.  There was a good amount of set up and characterization at the beginning, but the middle felt almost non-existent and then suddenly we were at the ending.  Pacing issues aside, I really loved Holly and Nick as characters and the chemistry they had once they got together was fantastic. I wanted to explore the setting in Germany more, but did really enjoy seeing the Christmas Market at least. Overall, this was an okay read but I really think it could have been 5 stars if it was longer and the romance was more developed.

I love holiday novellas so when I saw Jana Aston was releasing a set, I knew I had to read it. The Boss Who Stole
Christmas did not disappoint! I love a good workplace romance and this was fantastic. I loved Holly and Nick and thought it was the perfect first book in the series.

This was a fantastic start to the trilogy! For being a novella, I was shocked at how quickly I connected with the characters, as well as how warm and cozy this felt. Aston’s writing has the perfect balance of humor, fluff, and steam, and I’m definitely going to continue with the next two!

The Boss Who Stole Christmas is a cute, silly, bitesized Christmas story. I liked it and I'll definitely read more in this series.

This is a light hearted almost cheesy Christmas love story and I loved it. Sometimes you just need a light, quick story for the Holidays and this fit the bill. I really liked Nick. He was the apparent Grinch but truly a vulnerable good guy. Holly was a little over the top but funny. I dont usually go for the over the top Christmas books but apparently this year im into them!
