So this book was a little disappointing? I felt like the idea was cool and it could have been a really interesting and different story, but the plot fell flat and the characters were pretty boring.
Rachel was at times interesting but her self-depreciating attitude was annoying. It was like she couldn’t ever find one thing she liked about herself. I know that’s kind of the point but why do you need a boy to tell you that you’re pretty or smart or interesting? Why can’t you just hear it from the other people around you?
Kyle was seriously one of the worst male protagonists I’ve ever known. He was always thinking about how the girls looked! It was overwhelming the amount of times he was like, “stop thinking about doing this naughty thing.” I know he’s a teenage boy but good golly gosh, does he think of nothing else? And then everyone is like, “Oh he’s such a nice guy!” Sure, sure.
Do I think the two of them fit together? Yes, I do. Rachel makes Kyle think about the other stuff and Kyle makes Rachel think about herself. It made sense for them to get together. But that doesn’t mean I liked either of them.
I was hoping the plot would be more interesting but for it to go through so much trouble just for what a few weeks? The whole thing was very anti-climactic at times. And although I wanted to know the ending, that’s about all I wanted.
And can I just say that I was SUPER disappointed in Emma’s character? When she first talked to Rachel. I was happy to see an ex-girlfriend who wasn’t mean and ruthless... And then she had to go do mean things. It was entirely stupid to throw her character in two different directions.
Overall, not a book I’d recommend and not one I would read again.

It was a quick read with cute moments but it was predictable. It also had a lot of girl-on-girl hate for no real reason, slut shaming, fat shaming, and “I’m not like other girls”-ing in it which is annoying. Overall, not awful but definitely forgettable.
A little rant: When you are engrossed in reading classics, contemporary fiction, Adult fiction, thriller, mystery, and the unstoppable list goes on, you are not supposed to like a book that comes out with late teenage fiction (YA). Reality! It's an exception for me because I am a diverse reader and I can't restrict myself to one genre or two. It is against my reading goodwill. Thanks for going through this. It ends here.
The title of the book is engaging and talks about how social media virality can pick a person's fame from bottom to apex.
Kayle, he is a boy, girls want to hang out with. While roaming around at some food outlet, Rachel who is junior of Kayle takes out the picture of him and post it on the app called "flit". Moments passed and Kayle's life turns out from a normal person to an emerging celebrity through the power of social media, they say. His picture gets viral and their people keep on reflitting his picture. When he stomps to open the screen he sees the hurricane of notifications. Emma, Kayle ex gets jealous. The human psyche, when the person you abandon and ultimately he jazzes up in life, you start to feel I should get him back, some sort of hypocrisy and shamefulness.
So after all the reflits and Kayle fame reaches to overwhelm him, he gets the chance to appear in Laura's show. His mother feels proud of him and guides him to do well so he can become able to glisten his future as the same happens to Rachel. Their appearance starts to make them closer, physically and sexually and the game of being famous goes on.
I loved this ordinary, fast pacy and extra fun novel at the same time.

A little weird, but definitely original! Rooted for the couple the whole time. Really interesting to see how social media kind of impacts a story now.
