I loved this book, I was giggling almost the whole time! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because there wasn’t really a cliffhanger for you to want to immediately read the next book but I’m still gonna continue the series because it’s good

Re-read this recently and the storyline really didn't age well. Very creepy vibes with little character consitency.

This book was ridiculous. This shouldn't even be qualified as literature. The"story" is just an excuse to write about sex. It can all be summarized in a few short sentences.

He is so hot.
I don't date.
Fuck, he's hot.
You're mine.
Sex
Sex
Sex
I love you.
You're so hot.

Gideon and Eva are poorly constructed characters. There is no real story there. They both just whine a lot, are self centered and think their word is law. There is nothing else. And if you think at least some steamy sex scenes will save this book - dn't hold your breath.

There is nothing compelling about the first book in this series and I doubt I'll read the next one.

How is Eva so incredibly annoying? How is it possible to dislike the FMC so much and pray for her downfall? Why was she constantly looking for a reason to fight omg if I were Gideon I would’ve peaced out of there SO quickly.

One extra star because this was hot garbage I ate up and I’m about to start the second one (while still wishing the absolute worst for Eva).

I really liked this book at first but it slowly got worse and worse for me. I really felt like this was too similar to Fifty Shades of Grey, just way darker and toxic. So many things in both books just aligned way too well. We all root for the toxic/damaged men in these type of books but this one had me wanting them to not be together at all by the end of the book. The FMC was unlikeable and toxic too. I wanted to DNF around 75% but ending up finishing it.
