Doing a reread of the series after so long, and seeing I have no review for this book pains me so here we go:

Easily my favorite of the series! Pretty sure this reread was just to get to these two. While Luca and Aria are the ultimate mafia couple, Romero and Lily are the couple we needed in this series. Age gap, forbidden romance…. I loved Romero’s struggle in this one. His struggle to do right but wanting who he wants is hard. I love the development in their story, but only wished for a longer book. It went too quick! I can’t wait for more of these two in the anthology. I think a child would do well for them. They’re definitely the type, and I want to see Romero’s protectiveness over a little child.

3.75/5⭐️ The ending is a bit hurry, but I still enjoyed this story very much. The forbidenness and the strong sisterhood really got me. I never thought a mafia romance would made my pillow soaked with my tears in the late night! The scene of their mother…I’m gonna cry again

I felt so bad for Liliana, she did so much and got no credit or support from anyone.

Rocco is still the worst, what kind of father marries off their youngest daughter to a creepy old man. He is a sick individual.

I am glad that Lili followed her heart and slept with someone she cared about and actually desires. She knew who her heart belonged to and went for it. I wish her sisters did more the help her!
