I liked this book but it fell a bit short for me. I loved the relationship between the agents and Inara, Priya, and Bliss. There wasn’t as much in this book. But still, a good installment of the series.

siento que la trama tenía todo el potencial para lograr que fuera el mejor de la colección, pero no sé si me gustó tanto como estuvo ejecutada.
en ciertas partes (sobre todo llegando al final), sentí que pasó todo muy rápido y medio de la nada, cosa que no me convenció del todo.
aún así, es un buen libro. la autora siempre logra crear lecturas ligeras y atrapantes.
finalmente, lo que más destaco del libro es como, a través de él, pudimos terminar de conocer la historia de Mercedes (la quiero❤️).

A great book! I’m not always a fan of procedurals, but this one had me hooked. All the characters from the first two books are there. This one follows Mercedes, the FBI agent who was pretty much ignored in the first book, but had a larger part in book 2.
Mercedes is coming home from a night out with her squeamish girlfriend when she finds a surprise on her porch swing. Three children covered in blood telling her the Angel told them Mercedes would take care of them. What the Angel did would have traumatized any child, but the blood isn’t theirs.
The Angel is a vigilante serial killer whose kills are coming days apart. The team starts to wonder if the killer is a true vigilante or are they getting sloppy on their killing spree?
Mercedes is going through major life changes while trying to deal with a killer obsessed with her.

While the subject of child abuse is never an easy thing to read about, Dot Hutchison handles this story in a way that is both tender and heart-wrenching. It's not an easy read at times but well worth it if you have read the first two books and are undecided about whether to continue. It does bring up the ethical question of, whether abusers get all they deserve at the hands of a vigilante or should their punishment be dealt out through the legal system. Another interesting installment in The Collector's Series.
