While the subject of child abuse is never an easy thing to read about, Dot Hutchison handles this story in a way that is both tender and heart-wrenching. It's not an easy read at times but well worth it if you have read the first two books and are undecided about whether to continue. It does bring up the ethical question of, whether abusers get all they deserve at the hands of a vigilante or should their punishment be dealt out through the legal system. Another interesting installment in The Collector's Series.

This has been my favorite book in the series. It tugged at my heart so much more, intertwining the lives and stories of Agent Ramirez and the children she’s saved over her career. Truly heartbreaking but also gives you hope that there is still good in the world.

I hate giving bad reviews but I thought this book was horrible. I read The Butterfly Garden by this author and it was amazing but that's the only one. This book had a decent story but it's bogged down with so many unneeded details. I don't need to read 3 pages describing where everyone was sleeping or what all the characters ate for lunch. I'm sure other people liked this book but unlike The Butterfly Garden, this one just wasn't for me.
