This series (The Collector) is absolutely amazing! The four books in this series are so hard to put down. They keep you intrigued at all times. I highly recommend this series to everyone!

Basically this is Criminal Minds fanfiction, but I love it

Is the relationship between the agents unrealistic? Yes.
Do I care? No.
If you want to read a thriller with a found family then this is the book for you.
However, in this book the descriptions of the abuse are more vivid, so readers beware

THIS is the sequel

I have read both books that came before this one. I finished this book in one day because I was enthralled by the story, but I also enjoyed hearing about where my favorite agents are in life. If you enjoyed "The Butterfly Garden," then this is a more fleshed out sequel with the girls. However, it is important to point out that they are part of the B-Plot again. The main difference I felt between being in the B-Plot in "The Roses of May" and this book is that you hear more about all the main girls from the Garden, rather than just Inara writing Priya in letters.
Also, if you found "The Roses of May" hard to read, you can continue reading this book without finishing the former, because it recaps Priya's experience well.
If this was a trilogy, then this was a great ending. With that being said, I am worried about the fourth book.

Tip: This book is about the Detectives and their more personal cases and stories.
Book 1: Vic
Book 2: Edison
Book 3: Ramirez
Book 4: Sterling

okay now I’m fully invested in these agents and their little created family, how wholesome!!!

This was absolutely a 5 star read for me! If you haven't yet read this series, get started now. If you have read the first two books, you are in luck, because it's release day for this latest installment of The Collector Series!
The Summer Children is available right now to order or pick up in your local bookstore!

Thanks to Netgalley and Thomas & Mercer for allowing me a copy to read and give my honest review!

Read this during a flight layover. Book Three of the Collector Series. This is a * really * good series. Book one was my favourite followed by this one.
The story is gut wrenching. Trigger warning: there is a lot of graphic violence, sexual abuse, emotional abuse and child abuse. Extremely well written book, really grabbed my attention.
Knocked it down a star because if I was an FBI agent I totally think I would have figured it out quicker than they did lol I kept thinking “ why didn’t they...” and then later they did
