Let me start off by saying the synopsis for this book made me immediately want to read it. I love a good mystery/thriller. So many thoughts running through my head while listening to this audiobook.
- Rose has something to hide and is a self proclaimed psychopath
- Emily seems to be a bit too trusting and/or clingy
- Rose can be (or seemingly be) very naieve at times
- This book sure does have some gaslighting at it's finest

This was a quick, fun read and kept me guessing as to "who done it". I am still left with a question at the end but I'm ok with that.

This was my first read by this author and I was pleasantly surprised. I've already marked a couple others "to read"

Thank you to NetGalley, Dremscape Media and Natalie Barelli for the audiobook ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
Natalie Barelli is an auto request author for me. I didn’t bother to read the blurb and I was presented with a story, I didn’t expect. The concept of this is too cool!

The narration was good. I liked the voice a lot and it was easy to listen to. Ehhh, even at x3 speed. 😂

So…. All I can say that this was completely and utterly bonkers! Did I suck up every second of this? YES! Part one was already really fast paced. But part two? That was completely bonkers. The concept of the story was really, really good. Far fetched at times, but she sold it to me. I probably would have enjoyed this even more as a book, easier for me to comprehend and go back if needed.

Go prepare for a wild ride with characters you will love to hate, who are bonkers, and at times completely unlikeable. You’ll have no idea who to trust and who not!

Synopsis (I’d say, skip that and go in blindly for a better reading experience!!!)

So what’s this about? Rose’s laptop was lost at a busy airport. No big deal, you could replace it, right? Well… what if your diary was on said laptop and the person who found it published it and made a huge success out of it? That’s exactly what we have. Thing is, Rose has not always written the truth about everything.
Now she befriends author Emily to get her laptop back. Because the story is not only about a school girl who has a crush on her teacher, but also about murder… Hups….
