not my favorite volume, i have to admit. most of it was action with characters we aren't really attached to or care for yet and although the fight scenes and displays of power were cool, it would have been a lot more effective if we knew a little about them other than what little we know of their personality through their battle tendencies. establishing emotional engagement with characters is arguably one of the most pivotal goals for an author. without a connection to the characters, the stakes, regardless of its outcome, fall flat. it's the emotional resonance and not the spectacle that makes a fight scene most memorable. i understand now why some people aren't fond of the culling games arc, but i still have hope for it as more characters are joining the crew and characters are getting closer to completing their mission.

Las peleas estuvieron bien y todo lo de las apuestas estuvo interesante, me pareció muy creativo.

Pero nada en este tomo me importaba 😅

Lo mejor fueron los 3 cuadros de Maki al final.

Hakari's domain is way too confusing. Little Panda is soo cute. And finally Maki is shown
