Same great banter and spice JTG brings to all her books but the rest was meh. You have to suspend your disbelief quite a bit but it was a quick, fun read so I’m not mad about it.

This one has a lot of lead up before the romance really gets started. What we do have from the beginning is mutual pining and lots of mysteries. Then it gets full Stockholm Syndrome, which I do love as a trope.
